At that point, her Grandson looked at her with total admiration and asked how did she know all that stuff! The lady was thinking quickly and said to him, “All Grandmas know stuff. It’s on the Grandma Test.
You have to know it, or they don’t let you be a Grandma.” They walked along in silence for a couple of minutes and suddenly the boy beamed, “So if you don’t pass the test you have to be the Grandpa?”
Probably, being her you would reply with a big smile. However, his conclusions are quite logical. There is a common view that experience and wisdom come with years. Aging people become more patient and calm.
Thereafter, the more your knowledge and experience grow – the more things you can afford. These two features are important components of the self development. Too bad, but wisdom does not always come with age. It happens that the age comes alone. And if you do not pass the “Grandma Test”, you definitely will not have a sense of life satisfaction.
So what to do?! First of all you need to understand, that there is no use in sitting and waiting until the experience knock on your door! You should try, fail and win to get it. And there is nothing wrong in using advice of specialists. It helps not to repeat the mistakes of others. Let us say, is it worth to spoil your vacation because you decided to save money on travel agency?
You can also complain that men do not like you or lift up your pretty buttocks and go to a stylist! Or even worse, you can ruin the memories of your wedding because of the reluctance to work with a professional photographer. Examples can be endless.
So, it does not really matter how old are you. As one modern proverb says, “Unless your name is GOOGLE stop acting as if you know everything!” Our memory and skills are not unlimited. And we are not able to remember all the information that we would like to know. The world is so versatile and sometimes a little trifling idea can change your life.
The main question is where to get the idea? Where to find advice? And the answer is quite simple: if the business is serious, it is better to consult a professional.
