A tremendously user-friendly and well-designed plugin, “Modern Events Calendar”, is now the best WordPress event calendar on the market. You can even create and publish your events on your WordPress website using the Lite version of MEC (Free) and in any format or view, you’d like. It is interesting how feature-rich the free plugin is.
It has abilities like front-end event submission, adding several event organizers, locations, labels, and tags, using different views and skins and so much more.
If a simple event management system answers your needs you do not even have to upgrade to MEC Pro, however, upgrading to the Pro version event unlocks so many more features such as a weather module, an advanced booking/ticketing system for those who need to sell events and locations and many more.
Modern Events Calendar has a great design out of the box and you do not really need to change anything, since it is just brilliant, yet, in case you need to customize its design, you can get help from its add-ons such as Elementor Single builder, Form Builder and etc. Therefore, if you go Pro then you can also redesign MEC using Elementor add-ons as well.
