New Delhi, March 15, 2015: Delhi will soon witness its first ever mashup of hottest talent and hottest startups. ‘The Startup Mashup’ event powered by Myrefers, (www.myrefers.com), a referral based job marketplace is taking place on March 28, 2015 at IIT Delhi, Hauzkhas, the heart of Delhi’s intellectual hub in association with ecell (IIT).
The event will ‘connect’ the highly referred best tech brains from top tier Engineering and Management Colleges to the biggest startups namely Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), Delhi Technology University, (DTU / DCE), National Institute of Technology (NIT), Birla Institute of Technogy (BITS), Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) etc . The concept and main idea of the event is to recognise the ‘hottest geeks in the country’ across technology (web and mobile), data science, product management and UX and get them connected to the hottest startups.
It will be a daylong event designed in a unique format and filled with real time challenges to reach to dream job offers in a fun way. Startup Companies like CarDekho, 91Mobiles, Limetray, Gaadi, Groupon, Ibibo group, Acquia and few more will be there to offer dream jobs to the vibrant and talented alumni from premium colleges. The Startup CEOs and CTOs will share their stories and work closely in mentoring and guiding the challengers in solving the real task problems. There will be some exciting rewards from Goqii, Groupon and Microsoft.

The Startup Mashup event is based on recognising the best talent in the country with this year’s theme as ‘2X of Everything’. The event is to invite over 200 geeks in the country selected by Myrefers’ team basis their profile and quality of refer. The format will include challenges of Coding (web & mobile), Big Data, Product Management and UX sessions.
It will offer dream jobs to candidates (2x for candidates earning < 10 Lakhs currently, 1.5 x for candidate earning between 10-20 Lakhs and ESOPs or bonuses to candidates with > 20 lakhs CTC) and much more to the top 5 winners across each category (i.e. total top 20 – 25 candidates). For the remaining 175 -200 people at the event there will be exciting job offers and rewards too basis their interviews.
