Just a quick question, not very relevant thought. You indicated before you disavow the bad links, we should try to get these links pruned. Of course, if we can prune them, it is good. But is it necessary that one needs to do this exercise to convince Google that enough effort has been put to remove the bad links, like the way it is expected in case of manual action revoking?
Great article on DA and monitoring the toxic links is kind of hard if a person is totally newbie. What do you think of Negative SEO roles in the Domain authority? Will that be impacted after a massive links from harmful sites.
Web 2.0 sites present a great opportunity to get high DA backlinks to your website. The most important thing I’ve learned about building high DA web 2.0 properties is to keep the content relevant to the content you are linking to for best results. After all, you are essentially passing the trust from the high DA site to your own.
Very nice infographic. Thank You
“Great post as always! You are right about bloggers not regularly cleaning up link profiles. I am guilty of that too 🙂 When we get slapped link cleanup becomes a HUGE burden.
Thanks for reminding us to do it regularly. Can you suggest any tool we can use to audit our link profile regularly so to clean up regularly as well?”
Well, recently I started a Blog but as I am new, looking to improve my Domain Authority, so that I can get some advertisers attracted as I read it on articles online.
But in last update got nothing, Where I am making mistake? and When is the Next Domain Authority Update?

Awesome words to increase DA as well As PA, Two things that i have extracted from your lines is:
The quality content and its Proper and suitable Social Sharing.
Thanks Rafaqat
Great infographic, with a lot of useful tips that every webmaster should do in practice.
Most important things to consider are:
– domain age
– content quantity
– backlinks
So, you can work on content quantity (never forgetting quality) and on backlinks, that is the most influential part (and also the most time consuming).
Great info-graphic. Info-graphic published by you gives an in-depth overview to increase domain authority of a particular website.
Hello Jitendra,
Thanks for your article. I have just launched a website, in between 1-2 months it has a domain authority of 13 & Page Authority is 27. Is that okay for my site, or it is a lot lesser in that time period???

This is a great infographic. So easy to read. It’s funny, I read Lisa’s post on Basic Blog Tips and loved her infographic, as well.
All good points made but, I think that #4 is very important. If people know your brand, they know you.
Thank you for this info.

JITENDRA, what a great infograph. I love it! I just did a guest post over a Basic Blog Tips on this topic vs. PageRank. I especially love how number 5 now counts towards domain authority. I don’t believe that counted years ago. So much has changed in the past year that affects our Domain Authority. I wonder how it will evolve in the coming year as well.
Hi Lisa, Thnxxx for stumbling on my blog. I am glad that you love this awesome infographic. yeah lot of changes had been made in SEO 2013. Domain authority s very crucial. Page rank is also imp but now domain authority is very imp.
