Hi Howdy all, As part of our BloggersIdeas interview series, today we have Enstine Muki from EnstineMuki.com , who is extremely obsessed with learning everything there is to know about successfully marketing your website online. Also he is Online marketer, blogger and proud marketer. He will be answering various questions related to Social Media, SEO  & other Marketing stuffs . So lets start with the interview.

Please introduce yourself to our readers. Can you tell us something about our blogging journey. How and when did you enter into blogging?

I’m Enstine Muki and popularly known as the money making blogger. My first blog was EmFastIncome which I sold out for profit in December 2013. In November same year, I started EnstineMuki.com which is doing quite well

How do I get started with affiliate marketing if I am a complete newbie?

Well, Affiliate marketing is huge. It does not have a one jump-in spot. There are different approaches to it though the same principles are in place. I recommend you grab my free ebook here that will teach you all you need to make big commissions as newbie affiliate marketer. Read this ebook and put it to practice. That’s the only way forward

 Suppose I already have a website or blog with decent traffic. How can I use affiliate marketing to monetize my site?

If you have a blog or website with decent traffic, then you are a big step ahead with affiliate marketing. The first thing to do is promote some of the tools you are using to maintain your blog. Check out with your theme developer, web hosting company, premium plugins that you use. If these have affiliate programs, start by promoting them.

The advantage here is that you are promoting things you already use so you can proof to your audience that these things work.

Secondly, do product reviews on your blog. That’s one big way to generate commissions. Create SEO friendly review articles. Why SEO friend is because you keep getting targeted traffic from Search Engines. We know SE traffic converts better than referral traffic.

I’ll recommend reviewing and promoting products that pay recurring affiliate commissions. That’s where you make one sale that pays over and over for a very long period of time.

Another tip that works well is to contact product owners and request for unique promotion codes. That shows you care about your readers and the reduction will for sure boost sales.

Do you start by choosing an offer, and then building a website/email list/PPC campaign around it, or the other way around (i.e., first build a website or email list and then try to find suitable offers)?

The best approach is to know what you want to promote first. This will help you in your promotion strategies.  As a matter of fact, you can’t succeed promoting something you know nothing about.

Generally, you will be promoting many products. I recommend sticking around a particular niche. This will help you gain mastery over it and build a big targeted community (blog, list, social media, etc) with time. Bottom line, it’s always good to choose a niche first before building a blog or list around it

Google Panda update is coming soon ? What you think about it , will it impact small businneses.

The next Google updates will certainly impact both small and big businesses, especially those that have not paid attention to Google’s search terms. I often tell webmasters to beware of two things – outbound and inbound links. These are always the source of penalties. I have written this post on my blog showing you how to deal with dofollow outbound links and dangerous inbound links.

You also have to be very carful with keywords on your posts. Search technology has shifted from keyword density to latent semantic indexing (LSI). Related keywords are more important and help to avoid keyword stuffing.

How to recover from negative seo. How to stop people who stole content from our blog ? They use our content as thin on their own blog.

I have written some articles on my blog to address these issues. In the link I mentioned above, I brought out how to deal with negative seo. As a matter of fact, negative seo is when your competitors decide to build dangerous links to your site just to pull you down. You just have to report and disavow them as explained in that article.

You can’t completely stop people from stealing your contents. However, you can do something to avoid plagiarism. Again, this article can help.

To add to this, there are plugins to disable right-mouse click and browser’s page source view. These are some of the basic ways people quickly scrap.

How to Use Google Suggest to Grow Your Long Tail Traffic ?

Google suggest is a beautiful tool many webmasters ignore. It works in a very simple and clever way. When you start typing a search term in Google, it pulls out a list of that same keyword with more extended options. See the image below

By simply typing “make money” Google suggest gives me a list of related keywords that are used by same searchers. Now, we can add more to this by looking at the related search terms at the bottom of the search result page.

You see Google is helping us with the keyword “make money” by giving more long tail options. What you have to do here is get your seed keyword and let Google help you add a long tail to it.

What type of content get most shared on twitter , facebook & youtube ?

First, I’m not active on Youtube yet so I won’t be able to expound on it

Facebook and Twitter are two different platforms. However, the kind of content that goes viral on each depends on what you target.  However, it’s all about social media where people are interested in things that have to do with shocking news, relationship, fun, games, music, money, etc. Content with hot images often get shared.

Now let me mention Google+ here! If you want people to share the hell out of your content, mix it with some funny animated gif file. I have seen such posts with hundreds of reshares .

How to create loyal blog audiences, what kind of leadpages should be use to convert visitors into customers ? Any tools

The only way to create a blog with a loyal audience is to stick to posting useful and sharable content. If readers don’t like what you share, they will just walk away and never return. However, some tools are required to keep them coming back;

–          Build a list: there are so many excellent autoresponders out there

–          Use commentluv’s replyme plugin

How to optimize landing pages. What type of CTA(call to action) should be included in landing pages.

There are both simple html and video landing pages. For the most part, video landing pages do better. If you can get real testimonials and social media commenting system on your landing pages, I think conversion will be great.

Some times, some pages will need to be very simple pointing to the real matter. Avoiding unnecessary distractions can improve signups.

The best advice I can give here is;

–          Drive targeted traffic to your landing pages

–          Test and test

–          By testing, you may get different results in different niches

What type of guest posting methods you would prefer . Matt Cutts is hunting on spam guest blogging now.

Types of guest posting? Well you just have to follow the rules. Use the nofollow tag and stay safe. The activity has been misused and that’s why Matt came out to sound a warning. Guest posting continues but with little SEO benefits. If you are doing it for backlinks and hopping for an improvement in ranking, you’ve got to stop.
