The City of Denver will be celebrating social media’s impact on global communications as Social Media Day Denver: Mile High Influence returns.
This year’s event will be held at Metro State University of Denver on Thursday, June 30th, 2022. Initially started in 2010 by popular tech site Mashable.com, Social Media Day has become an international event celebrated by cities around the globe. Social Media Day Denver started in 2015 and after a brief hiatus in 2020, the event is back for the second year in a row.
Social Media Day Denver will be the city’s 6th year hosting an all-day conference that brings together leaders in the social space from both in and out of state. The conference will take place on Thursday, June 30th at Metro State University in the St. Cajetan’s event space on the Auraria Campus.
While many featured speakers will be crossing state lines to be a part of this ground-breaking event, a number of top local personalities will be on hand to equip attendees with the latest trends in social media.
Speakers include Rachael Doukas, Adam P Smith, Craig Severinsen, Chelle Johnson, Angie Callen, and conference organizer, Jenn Wayboer. They are excited to have Pizza Pete of Infinitus Pie sponsoring the event’s lunch this year.
Jenn Wayboer, the conference organizer this year, said: “I am excited to bring this event back to the Mile High city! It is a great opportunity to bring together the small business community and help everyone grow.
This event is great for not only marketers and creatives, but also entrepreneurs, students, and businesses of all sizes. We are excited to continue the relationship with Metro State University and provide a unique opportunity for their students.”
Social Media Day Denver 2022 commences at 9:00 am on Thursday, June 30th at Metro State University [Platinum Partner] located at 101 Lawrence Way, Denver, Colorado with a full-day agenda.
