Are you interested in purchasing residential proxies from Proxyrack? Before making a purchase decision, I recommend reading our Proxyrack review. The following article will discuss both the pros and cons of Proxyrack.
Considering the number of proxy providers, it can be easy for a provider to be lost in the crowd unless they are somehow unique, but with how unregulated the market is, being truly unique will be difficult. Only a few proxy providers offer what they offer, with no one else providing what they offer.
We are going to focus on Proxyrack in this article because it is one of the proxy providers you cannot overlook because it offers unlimited bandwidth and unlimited IPs.
Yet, you shouldn’t buy their proxy just because of this. I will discuss what else you need to know in order to make a good purchase decision.
What Is ProxyRack?
ProxyRack is one of the few proxy providers that offers both proxies and residential VPN services. It lists toll free numbers in both Hong Kong and the United States, but there aren’t many details about the company behind the service.Β
While no details are provided about the company, its pricing and features make it an interesting option worth checking out. ProxyRack claims to serve more than 800 million API requests each day.
The company was established in 2012, and is based in Australia. The company provides residential rotating proxy servers, USA datacenter rotating proxy servers, and mixed datacenter rotating proxy servers.
The company processes over 50 million requests per day! They are also known for powering some of the most important data mining companies in the world.
Residential rotating proxies, or Residential Backconnnect Proxies, are their primary service. Customers can contact their customer service by calling a few phone numbers.
As far as I can tell, there are no other options for contacting customer service, which seems a bit confusing to me. E-mail or a ticket-based system would be the most reliable.
Interface and Use
ProxyRack allows you to buy any proxy package you choose directly from your account dashboard, unlike other proxy services. In this way, you do not need to deal with a sales representative, although your support team is just a message away.
You’ll receive an email once you’ve purchased a package with instructions on how to use the proxies you’ve just purchased. Details about using the proxies are available from the dashboard, and it depends on what plan you have.
As an example, if you choose a residential proxy plan, a different IP address will be assigned to every request. As well as several sticky ports, you’ll also get a selectable duration drop-down menu that lets you set how long the IP will be held onto.
Metrics about your usage will also be displayed on the dashboard. Additionally, you will see the number of active threads in addition to bandwidth usage.
The usual authentication mechanisms are supported by ProxyRack. Your profile can be authenticated by your username and password or by adding whitelisted IP addresses. Each IP address can be added to the dashboard.Β
In the form of a FAQ, the project provides a basic guide to using the service, which is elaborate enough to help you integrate it with your web tools and crawlers.
Proxyrack Types and Pricing
Proxyrack doesn’t sell only residential or data center proxy servers like some companies.
There are two types of data center proxies: USA proxies and mixed datacenter proxies. The two plans each give you access to a certain number of IP addresses.
However, their locations differ. In the USA data center proxy package, only US IP addresses are available, but in the mixed proxy package, proxies from around the world are available.
I will go over their packages since I am reviewing residential proxies.
For rotating residential proxies, Proxyrack offers three packages: Standard, Elite, and Guru. All packages provide unlimited bandwidth and access to over 1,250,000 unique private IP addresses each month.
The only difference between them is the maximum number of simultaneous connections. Although Proxyrack does not offer a trial period, you do have 14 days to test out their proxies to see if they work.
Proxyrack offers residential VPN services in addition to proxies. Their service is accompanied by a native application that offers a wide range of features.
If you want to use a credit/debit card, you can do so through PayPal. If you are interested in cryptocurrencies, there are several options available to you.
Their website lists Bitcoin, Ether, LiteCoin, Zcash, Monero, Zencash, Dash, and Cloakcoin as payment options. The dashboard, however, only offers Bitcoin as a method of payment.
Proxy Server Locations
A company like Proxyrack can’t claim to have IP addresses worldwide when it comes to locations. It says it has proxies in over 40 countries, but it does not provide a list of countries.
Another thing that doesn’t look good for them is that they can’t target specific countries.
14-day Money-Back Guarantee
Although they do not offer a free trial period, their 14-day money-back guarantee period is almost as good. For more than two weeks, you can access their proxies to determine if they are suitable for your purposes.
Unlimited Bandwidth
Proxyrack offers limitless possibilities. In fact, there are no limits. Every proxy package comes with unlimited bandwidth. You pay nothing extra for this.
Multiple Authentication Methods
Proxyrack is an excellent choice for those looking for IP whitelisting and username/password authentication services. IP addresses can be whitelisted up to four times, and a username and password can also be used to authenticate.Β
How To Use?
It might seem hard to navigate Proxyrack’s dashboard, but it is actually quite simple. In contrast to most of their competitors, you can navigate through the options via the main navigation panel on the top.
Real-Time Control Panel
You can view the list of the residential proxies you purchased by navigating to the Rotating Megaproxy menu. Two types of proxies are available there: random and sticky.
Random IP On Every Request
Using rotating proxies, the random IP address on each request is different every time it is sent. This IP range is recommended for scraping by Proxyrack, since each new request is sent from a different IP, meaning that the chances of being blocked are almost nonexistent.
If you use a rotating proxy, you can use their DNS or use a direct IP and port. Proxyrack recommends using the DNS when a server is down or when there is a high demand for resources so that you can be transferred to another server.
Sticky IP Addresses
In contrast to random IP addresses, sticky IP addresses allow sessions to last for a longer period of time. It is claimed on the dashboard that Proxyrack’s static proxies can keep a session active for up to thirty minutes.
There is also a setting below that says that it will remain active for 60 minutes. It is still quite long in comparison to most of its competitors.
As with other rotating proxy providers, Proxyrack recommends taking advantage of the DNS so that it can automatically switch your IP address in case of a failure or high request volume.
Regardless of whether you are using a static or rotating proxy, once you set up the parameters, Proxyrack’s servers handle the rotation. There is a GitHub repository on GitHub that users can consult to implement proxies.
Users can find programming languages for the most popular ones there. You can go through the examples here: https://github.com/proxyrack/API-Examples
However, you can still configure your browser to use these proxies even though they are not intended to be used for browsing.
Proxyrack allows you to choose the purpose for which you will use the proxy servers. A popup will appear when you select Rotating Megaproxy from the menu. As soon as you select how the proxies will be used, they optimize the proxies to improve the results you get.
How To Authenticate?
There are two ways of authenticating with Proxyrack: IP whitelists and usernames and passwords.
IP Whitelist
When you access the proxy servers from a one-IP address computer, whitelisting IPs is a great feature. This method saves you from entering the username and password.
Add your IP address to one of the fields in the “Proxy Settings” section and click “Save.” The settings will take 15 to 20 minutes to take effect.
Proxyrack currently allows users to whitelist up to four IP addresses. This might be an inconvenience for some users. Users can fix this by authenticating with credentials.
Username And Password
Almost no settings can be changed here. You can see the password automatically generated by the “Rotating Megaproxy” menu.
Do We Recommend ProxyRack?
That’s for sure. As a leading proxy provider on the internet, ProxyRack has established an excellent reputation for its products and services.
As they have gained experience since they started, they have definitely strengthened their ground and have evolved into a leading proxy company with data centers all over the world. Residential proxies should always be bought from ProxyRack.

Conclusion: Proxyrack Review 2023
Our feelings about Proxyrack are mixed. Compared with some of their competitors, their IP pool and locations are much smaller. Neither the speeds nor the latency are remarkable and could be a cause for concern.
Two IP addresses weren’t identified as “good” by the ISP test. However, even these two proxies passed the use test and were able to gain access to all restricted websites.
In general, Proxyrack is not a bad provider of proxies. You can find relatively cheap proxies here if you are okay with the speeds, latency, IP pool, and locations.Β
