Make Your Message Clear

In order to get the best results, you need to make it clear what you want the viewer to do. For example, do you want them to subscribe to your channel, visit your website for more information or subscribe to your newsletter. If they don’t know exactly what you want them to do, they may not bother to do anything.  As a rule, it’s best to have only one clear message for the user at any given time because this helps to make your point clear and encourages more interaction.

Explain Why Certain Actions are required

The next step in creating a compelling call to action plan that gets results is to explain why certain actions are required. You can’t just tell users what to do and expect them to do it. They need encouragement and they need to understand exactly why they need to subscribe to your newsletter or your channel.

Will they receive more information about how to use a certain product if they click here? Will they receive special discounts on specific products or services if they subscribe to your channel? When you explain why performing a certain action will be beneficial to the user, they will be more likely to perform the action.

Provide Clear Instructions on How to Perform the Action

When you tell users to sign up for your newsletter to receive special promotional offers or to subscribe to your YouTube channel to gain valuable information about your products or services, you need to provide them with clear instructions on how to perform the action. If you make the user search for the link or button to click, you probably won’t get very good results.

A good call to action plan will tell the user exactly what you want them to do immediately after watching the video. It’s recommended that you keep track of the results your current action plan receives, so you will know where and when to make changes. There are a number of YouTube analytical tools available to help you do this. Take advantage of them and it will help you get the most out of using this networking site.
